Carol H. Burrell

Carol H. Burrell has served as president and chief executive officer of Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, Georgia since 2011 and has been a member of their senior management staff since 1999. She has more than 30 years of experience in various clinical operations for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

 

Ms. Burrell is active in the Gainesville Rotary and United Way of Hall County, and currently serves as vice chair for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Georgia Hospital Association (GHA). Additionally, Ms. Burrell serves on the executive committee for Vizient Southern States and is the board chair for Phoenix Health Care Management Systems, Inc.

 

Ms. Burrell received her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Georgia Southern University and Emory University, and her master’s degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University.
